Consent & Privacy Notice (Login with Amazon)
This notice describes how ST Remote Pro (“we”, “us”) handles information when you choose to use Login with Amazon or other Amazon services that link to this application, in addition to our general Privacy Policy.
1. What Amazon sign-in is used for
If we offer Login with Amazon or Amazon Music–related features, Amazon authentication is used only to verify your identity with Amazon and to obtain the permissions you approve on Amazon’s consent screen. We do not use Login with Amazon for unrelated marketing.
2. Categories of information
Depending on the Amazon APIs and scopes enabled for ST Remote Pro, this may include:
- Basic profile identifiers supplied by Amazon as part of Login with Amazon (for example, a user identifier).
- Email address or name, only if you grant the corresponding Amazon scopes.
- Technical data required to maintain a session (for example, tokens issued by Amazon), stored and refreshed according to our security practices.
We do not sell your personal information. Amazon processes data under Amazon’s own policies when you interact with their services; see Amazon’s documentation for details.
3. Purpose and legal bases
We use Amazon-provided data only to:
- Authenticate you and link your ST Remote Pro account to the Amazon identity you choose.
- Provide optional features that explicitly depend on Amazon services (for example, Amazon Music integrations where available).
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot integration issues.
4. Retention
We retain Amazon-related tokens and identifiers only as long as needed to provide the feature you enabled, or until you disconnect the service or delete your account, unless a longer period is required by law.
5. Your choices
- You can revoke ST Remote Pro’s access from your Amazon account settings (Manage Your Content and Devices / Apps and services), which stops new requests using that authorization.
- You may disconnect linked services inside ST Remote Pro where the app provides a disconnect option.
- For other privacy requests, use our Support form (we do not publish a personal email on this site).
6. Children
ST Remote Pro is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through Amazon sign-in for child-directed purposes.
7. International users
If you use Amazon or ST Remote Pro from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.
8. Changes
We may update this notice when Amazon requirements or our integrations change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised notice where permitted by law.
9. Full policy & terms
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If anything conflicts, the more specific disclosure for Amazon sign-in on this page applies to Login with Amazon data.
